We have been blown away by the overwhelming response to our $250 home makeover giveaway. Since so many of our readers just learned about the contest - we've decided to extend it two extra days to give everyone a chance to win.
In celebration of our very first sale, we are giving away a very special prize to one lucky BULX member.
On Thursday, August 12th, a randomly-selected BULX member will receive the Grand Prize - a $250 gift certificate to use on his or her favorite BULX sales. (Since our sales are typically 50-70% off of retail, our winner could walk away with over $800 worth of product for their home.)
But because we have decided to extend the giveaway, you will need to do everything you can to increase your chances of winning. Above are three easy steps to up the number of entries that have your name on them (pay special attention to #2).

I love home renovations. I really love quality products. And who doesn't love a good contest?
That's why I was bummed to hear that Owens Corning is sponsoring a "best roof makeover" contest - I've already redone my roof - see below.
The Owens Corning "That's My Roof" contest seems pretty straight-forward:
- Take a "Before" photo of your home with the old roof,
- Purchase and install their new Duration® Series Designer Colors Collection shingles,
- Create a profile and upload your "After" photos to their "That's My Roof!" contest gallery,
- Share your profile page with all your friends, family members, and social contacts and have them vote for your home!
The monthly winners receive a $500 check*, and the Grand Prize winner (selected in December) will have the entire cost of their roof reimbursed - up to a $10,000 value!
